Short Summary

Dr Jun Li is currently an Associate Professor in School of Civil and Mechanical Engineering at Curtin University, Australia. Jun received his PhD degree from Hong Kong Polytechnic University, China, in 2012. His research interest includes the development and application of novel data analysis, artificial intelligence and signal processing techniques for structural health monitoring of civil engineering structures. Jun has been a chief investigator for several research grants, including 1 Australian Research Council (ARC) Future Fellowship, 1 ARC Discovery Early Career Researcher Award (DECRA), 1 ARC Linkage project and 1 ARC Industrial Transformation Training Centre (ITTC) project. He is currently a Co-Chair of Early Career Researchers Committee of International Society for Structural Health Monitoring of Intelligent Infrastructure (ISHMII), an Executive Committee Member of Australian Network of Structural Health Monitoring (ANSHM) and an Associate Editor of International Journal of Lifecycle Performance Engineering. He was one of finalists of the prestigious Western Australia Premier’s Science Awards Early Career Scientist of the Year for 2016 and 2017, was a receipt of Curtin University Pro Vice-Chancellor Early Career Researcher Award in 2016 and University of Western Australia High Achieving Young Investigator Award in 2013. Jun is an author of 125+ technical publications, including more than 70 peer-reviewed journal papers.
